Katie is kind teenage girl who uses her humor to be able to relate to her peers at her group home. Katie has had many placements and is determined to be able to make her new placement a source of stability as she reaches adulthood. She has reengaged in school and has found a new interest in dance and art. She is commonly described as respectful to staff and willing to make a change in her life.

Katie is really excited to stay in her current placement and has been asking if she can decorate her room to make it feel more like her own space. She's a big fan of "Hello Kitty" and hopes to buy some items from Amazon to add her own personal touch to the room. Katie believes that by doing so, she'll feel more at home and motivated to participate in her program, which will help her gain important independent living skills.
