This past semester, Jada's laptop stopped working, and she has been unable to get it fixed or get a new one. She is working towards her dream of becoming a registered nurse, and will be taking classes in the summer. With most classes being online, a laptop is so important. She has been trying to make due without a working laptop and using her phone instead, but it has proven difficult. On top of school, Jada also works and is a single parent, limiting her ability to spend the time she needs for class work at the school's computer lab. Access to a laptop allows her the flexibility to keep up with all of her work and school responsibilities while she also fulfills the responsibility of being at home with her son.
