Nova wants to make sure she's prepared in case of an emergency. She is moving into a new home and is asking for a first aid kit. She knows that sometimes emergencies occur, and she wants to make sure she's ready. Nova has witnessed tragedy up close. She wants the security of knowing she can help herself and others if she's ever in that situation again.
Nova is 19 years old and lives in NM
Nova aged out of foster care after being in the system for a number of years. She is very open about her life and what she wants to accomplish. Nova has amazing leadership skills and strives to be an advocate for other youth in the system.
