Levi is super excited about joining the Boy Scouts! He needs a few things to get started, like hiking boots and a hiking pack. If we can help him out with these items, he'll be able to go on camping trips with his unit. And that means he'll have more opportunities to earn Merit Badges for Camping, Hiking, Canoeing, climbing, and so much more! For Levi, joining the Boy Scouts is about being part of a team and a community. It's a chance for him to build confidence, make lifelong connections, and learn new skills- all while feeling like a normal kid, not focusing on his time in care. Having the proper hiking gear, like a backpack and boots, means he can safely carry his gear and navigate the trails with ease. The skills he'll learn in Boy Scouts will stay with him for life. So, let's help Levi get started on this amazing journey! This wish has been split into two to help Levi get everything he needs. This is wish 2 of 2.
Levi is 15 years old and lives in OH
Levi is a great young man who has some great goals in life. He is currently in Jr. ROTC at school and does Boy Scouts after school. He very much enjoys working with his units to learn and grow. He enjoys weekend camps, earning badges, camping, hiking, and being outside. He wants to be able to fit in with the other kids and feel a sense of normalcy in his life.
