Corrina has been through so much and has grown to love herself and prioritize the important things to her. She has dealt with the foster system, different forms of violence, homelessness, and more, and she has worked really hard to find footing in a more stable place. Her determination has gotten her and her partner housed and pushed her to finish her high school diploma so she can go on to explore what the world has to offer to motivated creatives like her.

Corrina used to have hip-length hair that she loved, but someone who bullied her when she lived on the street cut her hair really short. She has been trying to grow it out for over a year now but finds that healthy growth is hindered by her hair’s tendency to get a lot of split ends. Many of the local hair salons nearby don’t perform micro-trims for a reasonable price, and her mental health has made making it to appointments difficult for her. A cordless split-end hair trimmer would allow her to do her own maintenance cuts on her hair at home and grow it to the length that makes her happy, aligning with her religion and gender expression. She has an upcoming birthday and would be so happy to receive this trimmer!
