Sumaya is a dedicated individual who is currently pursuing her studies in criminal justice while also working as an optometrist's assistant. Having aged out of DCPP services, she navigates her challenges with resilience, receiving very little support along the way. This month, Sumaya attempted to apply for food stamps, as she is always in need of support with food costs, but she was unexpectedly denied. She relies on this to help feed herself and her baby, but she needs extra assistance. Enough to buy groceries for two people for a couple of weeks would help immensely.
