Elijah is a very smart and kind young man that was recently placed in a foster home without his two younger sisters. He loves to read and play video games and wants to one day create his own video game. Elijah has been a bit withdrawn since he was removed from home but he continues to be very respectful and does his chores with now complaints. He misses his two younger sisters but continues to be hopeful to be reunited with his family one day.

Elijah is thrilled to find out that his hard work has paid off, and he won't have to go to summer school. It's the first summer he doesn't have to make up any of his classes, and he's extremely proud of himself. Next month, his class will be going to one of the local amusement parks, and Elijah has saved up to buy himself a new pair of sneakers for the occasion. He would really appreciate a new pair of sweatpants to match his new shoes, as he has spent all of his savings on the sneakers.
