Ericka is a young mom who aged out of foster care. At age 15, she was brought into foster care due to unhealthy living conditions. She remained in foster care until her 18th birthday when she aged out. Despite years of hardships, Ericka has remained hopeful for a brighter future for herself and her children. As a young adult, she is advocating for her own mental health by seeing a counselor.

With the due date for her baby quickly approaching, Ericka wants to ensure she has everything she needs to bring her newborn home. She is due in a couple of months and is in need of a crib mattress. She wants to make sure her newborn has his own safe sleeping space. Ericka speaks lovingly of her children and openly shares that she is committed to creating a safe home for her children because this is what she lacked as a child. She is determined to break the cycle!
