Demarion has never had an opportunity to go shopping for himself and pick out his own crafting items. He's always been thankful for what the group home provides him, but his social worker would like to give him an opportunity to gather his own items for the things he wants to create. Demarion loves to make things with his hands. It helps him to regulate his behaviors, and it is a means of calming himself and grounding his mind. A gift card to Hobby Lobby will give him a wide array of crafting items and some sensory items. This gift will give Demarion a sense of individuality and independence, which is rare in his circumstances. This wish has been split into three parts to help Demarion get some great new supplies. This is wish 3 of 3.
Damarion is 14 years old and lives in MO
Damarion is a sweet boy who loves to dress up and look nice, including wearing suits to school. At a young age, Demarion entered the foster care world and struggled with processing the strong emotions that came with that. He struggles with feeling unloved and cut off from the world. He finds it difficult to connect with his peers. Damarion is working toward self-improvement in his education and behavior. He loves deeply and hopes to continue making positive strides to turn his life out for the good. He finds peace in the world of arts and crafts. He enjoys crocheting and making bracelets. Making crafts is something he's very proud of. Demarion dreams of working in the world of public service and wants to help others when he gets older. Damarion is currently residing in a group home and working on his relationship with his grandparents.
