Nicholas needs a few things to get through this summer, like shoes that fit. The idea of getting new shoes that were purchased just for him makes his face light up! He hopes to pick out some cool shoes just like other kids his age are wearing!
Nicholas is 10 years old and lives in OH
Nicholas is an adorable boy who lives in one of the hardest places a child could live. Nicholas lives in a residential care facility due to the extreme trauma he endured as a small child. Nicholas goes without many of the luxuries that most children take for granted. He has no toys of his own and very little clothing. Nicholas tries to find sparks of happiness in the ways he can while he is stuck in this harsh environment without the comfort of a family to support him.
