Nick has been in foster care for a few years and has a vibrant, playful personality. Nick has a Level 2 autism diagnosis along with a moderate learning disability, but he never lets it get in the way of his enjoyment of life or the people around him.

Nick has autism and operates very well in a structured environment that helps him learn, which is why this camp is so important. The summer can be difficult because of the routines of life being thrown off, and Nick getting the opportunity to go to this camp provides that structure and stability. Nick loves a structured environment, and this camp is extremely beneficial to his development and progress towards independent living in any capacity. This camp is the highlight of his summer, and he looks forward to it all year! There are many learning areas and fun activities in nature, as well as relational building skills, that Nick wants to develop! This is the second half of the needed amount for Nick to attend camp.
