Courtney is a sweet and kind young lady with a tough upbringing. Despite it all, she still carries herself with an infectious sense of joy. She doesn't let tough times get to her, and after years of making mistakes she now regrets, she has turned her life in the right direction. Part of that effort is now motivated by becoming a mother. Despite the new responsibility, she refuses to stop the momentum she is building chasing her career goals.

Courtney was accepted into an independent living program and will now have her own apartment for the first time in her life. While living in her previous group, she struggled with keeping her room clean. She would often have a pile of clothes lying on the floor and wouldn't know which were clean or needed to be washed. Courtney would like to start on the right foot at her new place and have somewhere to put the laundry that needs to be cleaned.
