Jadiel is an energetic boy who enjoys playing soccer in the park, drawing, sketching, gaming, and reading science fiction stories. He is also a studious child who excels academically and has stated that he would like to be an electrical engineer.

Jadiel resides in an urban impoverished neighborhood in which drug and gang activity are prevalent. He has been through a traumatic near-death experience as a survivor of domestic violence. He resides with his mother who is also in recovery from domestic violence and has a job with a limited income. His wish is to receive a gaming monitor that will complete his gaming system. Gaming will provide him a better way to cope with his PTSD by releasing the anxiety and stress that is affecting his emotions. This gift will serve to uplift his spirits and diminish his trauma symptoms by reducing intrusive memories of the traumatic event he experienced. The gaming monitor would be an excellent outlet which Jadiel can use to overcome the adversities he has sustained and assist with improving his mental health. Playing video games may also teach him valuable skills such as decision-making, problem solving, and various coping strategies. Granting this wish would be an amazing surprise for an intelligent, resilient, and budding young boy.
