New Mexico Friends of Foster ChildrenMay is a sweet, kind, and curious young lady. She is learning how to enjoy life and beginning to explore nature. Despite the hand she was dealt early on, she still finds time to laugh and smile.
May's foster family is doing an amazing job of helping her explore new experiences and learn new skills while still allowing her to have fun and be a kid. Recently, she had a blast paddling around the lake in a borrowed kayak during a fishing trip. Despite her challenges with poor muscle tone and motor skills, having her own kayak would not only make her feel empowered but also provide her with the chance to improve her coordination, muscle tone, and focus.
