AD needs clippers that work with his hair texture. He specifically requested an Andis Master hair clipper because this is familiar to him and works with his hair type. He will be able to fade his hair and maintain his cuts instead of having to pay. In his area, haircuts start at $45 pre-tip so he wants to start cutting his own hair in college. This will save him so much money! Although it's marked as "Just for fun", it's important to recognize the importance of hair care when it comes to our students feeling their best.
AD is 20 years old and lives in CA
AD is at one of the top public universities in the world with an eye towards media or film studies. Despite a solid first year, the second year has been incredibly stressful, with challenges around mental health, bio and foster families, academics, and belonging within a large campus. Prior to college, he attended over 15 schools and navigated on his own to ensure his future. However, it has been quite overwhelming and we are continuing to support him during this slightly prolonged transition. Hobbies that bring him joy are listening to music of all genres, styling people, playing basketball, and skateboarding.
