Roberta desperately wishes for a portable AC because she lives in Los Angeles and does not have a functioning AC in her vehicle. She drives long distances sometimes, which causes her to suffer through the heat. Her AC repair cost is over $1,200, so having a portable AC that can connect to her vehicle would definitely help her get through the hot summer while she saves up for a solution that is more permanent.
