Genevieve entered foster care when she was a preteen and aged out of the system after many foster home placements and much tumultuousness. Despite so much change, Genevieve persevered, working and attending college for several semesters as a young adult. Genevieve is currently taking a break from her schooling to stabilize in a new city, where she feels like she will be safer and there will be more work opportunities.

Genevieve unexpectedly had to leave her job. She is planning to move back to Utah sooner than she expected. A Smith's gift card will help her purchase food and snacks during her move. It will also prevent her from facing food insecurity.
