Fostering Hope - BucksShantelle is a super hard worker! She currently lives in a congregate home with several other girls. This placement was rough at first for Shantelle but after being in several foster homes and having to move for various reasons; none that were her fault she felt this big step toward independence was best for her. She loves to draw and hopes to pursue a career in digital arts in the future.
Shantelle is entering her senior year of high school and is excited for several of her courses, but the most exciting one is her digital arts class. She has already won several awards for her work and plans to turn this love into a career when she enters college. Unfortunately, her old iPad recently stopped charging, and attempts to have it fixed were unsuccessful because it is so old. By granting this wish, she will not only have a tool for her future career but also be able to connect with peers. Shantelle is not allowed to have a phone where she is living, so an iPad is her only means of digital communication.
