Pressly entered into state custody the moment she was born. Pressly was born with some health problems, as she has an enlarged aorta that she has to take daily medication for. When she was placed into the system, the foster parents of her older sister immediately said yes to taking her in! She has grown to be a smart and beautiful girl who adores her older sister. She wants to do everything her sister does. She is caring and sweet, and her family adores her.

Pressly's love for a baby doll is really important to her as a foster child. Playing with the baby doll gives Pressly a way to express her caring nature and provides therapeutic benefits. It allows her to create nurturing relationships and gives her comfort and a sense of continuity in the ever-changing foster care environment. Having a baby doll would also help her to build a bond with her foster siblings and boosts her self-esteem.
