Brie's always busy, but when she can, she loves hanging out at home. She used to be a big gamer and really misses it. She's been wanting a PlayStation 5 for ages, and she's super excited to finally play some of her favorite games again. It'll be a great way to relax and have fun. She can just imagine the joy of immersing herself in a thrilling adventure, escaping the stresses of daily life with every button press. Brie can't wait to explore new worlds, solve puzzles, and compete against friends in exciting multiplayer battles. The PS5 will offer her a much-needed escape, a chance to unwind and recharge in a way that she hasn't experienced in a long time. But unfortunately, due to financial constraints, she's unsure if she'll ever be able to afford one.
Brie is 31 years old and lives in NY
Brie is a member of CASA-NYC's Youth Leadership Council. She spends her time advocating for youth who are still in foster care. Brie has aged out of care, but is still involved in the foster community. She transitioned from foster care to live independently around the time she turned 21 years old and has remained in her own apartment for several years. Her home has been a safe haven for many of her friends that have become like family as they've navigated the foster care system too. Brie's passion is cooking! She wants to be a chef when she gets older. Her favorite thing to cook is backed mac and cheese. She is working part-time as a pastry chef in Queens making delicious deserts and pastries.
