Carl is a very happy-go-lucky young man who loves comic books, music, fishing, and drawing. He has some special needs and was recently removed from his home. Carl was not placed with his younger siblings because he needs more assistance with his daily living functions. He has not allowed his placement in foster care to stop his desire to work hard in school so that he can graduate on time. Carl does not allow his disability to stop his enjoyment of life. He loves visiting with his siblings every weekend and always has pictures for them to take back of his drawings.

Carl will be a senior this year when school starts. He had to attend summer school and worked very hard to pass his classes in order to graduate on time. Carl loves to wear hoodies and has asked for a new one for school because the early mornings can be cool when he catches the bus. Carl is in Independent Living and has worked all summer at McDonald's to purchase his school clothes. He would be so happy to get some help with this cool hoodie.
