Marisa is a devoted mother of three who has faced numerous challenges but remains determined to build a stable and loving future for her family. After experiencing periods of homelessness, her teens were placed in kinship care while she worked to regain stability in her life. Despite the obstacles she encountered, Marisa was excited to reunite her family under one roof. She recently achieved an incredible milestone by graduating from nursing school! Marisa finds joy in simple pleasures, such as listening to music, styling hair, applying makeup, and relaxing by watching her favorite television shows. Above all, she values spending time with her family. Whether visiting Kings Island, going to the local pool, or simply being together at home, those moments are the most meaningful to her. She continues to work hard every day to provide stability, love, and opportunity for her family.

Marisa will be taking night classes in the fall. She is currently deciding what she wants to major in; however, she will be getting her general classes out of the way. Marisa will be attending a community college in the fall and would like a backpack to carry her supplies in. Marisa will avoid having to worry about her items being to heavy to carry.
