David is a non-minor dependent foster youth who entered foster care due to poverty. David is a gentle and kind youth who is always well-mannered and respectful with his foster mother and social workers. David is attending community college with a passion for Computer Engineering. David is also looking for employment as he is determined to save money to prevent himself from becoming homeless again.

David was in a foster home for five years, but he just returned home to live with his mother, who is in Section 8 housing. David is relieved to be home, but the state is unable to approve this home for any funding as David does not have a bed to sleep on, and he has been sleeping on the hardwood floors with pillows. David has found a bed that would prevent him from sleeping on the floor. This would really help David get better sleep prior to starting college. This bed also comes with drawers and a bookcase, which will help provide storage in his room. David will be so happy to get up off of the floor and sleep much more restfully in a bed.
