Julien wants to have normal teenage experiences, and stylish new tennis shoes are on his list of must-haves! Students' clothing and shoes increase self-esteem and give them a sense of pride that contributes to their academic and overall success. He has asked for a new Nike so he can "fit in" with his peers!
Julien is 16 years old and lives in NC
Julien has spent some time in foster care. Prior to foster care, he spent a lot of time out of his home in intuitional settings. Since being out of his parent's care, his trauma response behaviors have essentially been nonexistent! He no longer needs Special Education Services, he no longer needs institutional care, and his number one wish is to have normal experiences just like his peers. Julien loves to read and is a big fan of history!
