Village of Hope MauiJessyn been in foster care for seven years. She lost her mother while in foster care and her father has a brain injury so she doesn't have a relationship with him. During her time in the system, she has been sexually assaulted repeatedly and is doing her best to heal from these instances. Regardless of her past, she is a very outgoing, busy girl, who loves to eat. Her favorite food is chicken. Jessyn also loves clothing and expressing herself through fashion!
As a young girl who lost her mother at a tender age, Jessyn finds solace and a sense of normalcy in doing her hair and nails. These grooming activities provide her with an avenue to express her femininity and boost her confidence. Unfortunately, her caregiver is unable to afford frequent trips to get her hair and nails done, which prevents Jessyn from experiencing the joy and confidence that comes with these activities. A trip to Supercuts would give her a much needed day of self care.
