Alejandra is one of the most caring and humanitarian people you would have the pleasure of meeting. She is a former foster youth who has aged out of the system and dedicated her life to becoming an advocate for foster youth in California. Due to her dedicated involvement in her work, she's been invited to attend the United Nations Permanent Forum for Indigenous issues and the White House Policy Youth Summit. She loves hiking and working but still enjoys the occasional cheat meal!

Despite facing significant challenges, Alejandra has achieved so much and continues to strive for a better future. It's heartbreaking to think of all the hardships she has endured, especially aging out of the foster care system. Her determination to make a positive impact on the lives of other youths in similar situations is truly inspiring. The fact that she is the first in her family to have her own apartment is a remarkable accomplishment, and it's clear that she deserves to feel proud and ecstatic about it. However, it's also disheartening to realize that she hasn't asked for much in her life. The simple desire for a TV to enjoy some well-earned relaxation in her own apartment highlights the lack of luxuries she has experienced. It's a poignant reminder of the struggles she has faced and the simple joys that she has had to sacrifice along the way.
