Jolene dreams of becoming an architect someday and spends all her free time drawing and creating designs that she hopes to bring to life. She would love to expand her talent and see her creations on TV by using a drawing tablet. Jolene has mastered using her mouth to operate drawing tools to create masterpieces because she is unable to use her hands due to a severe birth defect. This drawing tablet would provide her with hours of practice and the ability to save her work digitally forever.
Jolene is 14 years old and lives in MO
Jolene is an amazing young person who was born with many birth defects due to parental drug use. She is in a wheelchair and has no use of her legs or arms. However, this has not held Jolene back. Since being put in foster care, she has shown many talents. Jolene dreams of going to college and becoming an architect. Despite her challenges, she creates amazing drawings by holding her pens and pencils in her mouth. They are breathtaking. Jolene proudly maintains a 4.0 GPA in school, but she needs assistance getting things set up in class. Jolene's smile can brighten up anyone's day. She is truly showing that her disability is not going to define her.
