Courtney is a smart, loving young lady in foster care for many years. She experienced many types of trauma before entering foster care and is working hard to overcome her fears. Despite her young age, Courtney is now a young mother. Courtney is still working hard at school and maintaining her honors, showing much growth and responsibility for someone so young.

Courtney moved into her very first apartment a few months ago with her 10-month-old son. Although the money she makes from work is enough to pay for necessities, it has not been enough to help fully furnish her place with items that will improve the quality of life for herself and her son. She would love to have a toaster oven to make quick meals for herself and to cook soft vegetables as her son is getting older now for solid foods.
