Think of UsAshlee is a loving young lady with the ambition to save the world. She loves to help others and be a voice for other former foster youth experiencing a hard time adjusting to their new norms. She loves to be outside, being active, and enjoying the summer breeze.
Ashlee is attending class and working daily and fully knows how important it is to make sure she has enough food for the day since she may be gone for long periods of time. She has applied for food support via SNAP, but the county's backlog with applications has been making it difficult to hear back if she's been approved or not. The county keeps telling her she has to wait, but her stomach tells her differently! Ashlee would love grocery support so she can keep on top of her obligations, studies, and work hours.
