Lucan entered foster care at age 7 and aged out at age 18. Lucan is an incredibly passionate and motivated young adult who strongly desires to make a positive impact on the lives of others. He is exceptionally kind and generous with his time and resources, and he has a genuine and caring heart for people.

After spending 11 years in foster care, Lucan aged out of the system and set out to create as much stability as he could for himself. He worked incredibly hard during this time to stay afloat, clinging to one of his most prized possessions: his car. Lucan's car was more than simple transportation to him; it ultimately became his shelter when he found himself homeless for 3 months. Once again, Lucan pushed forward, picked himself up, and secured a really great job that he loves, and stable housing. Unfortunately, he is still trying to catch up on back payments that were accrued during his time in transition, and his car was recently repossessed. If Lucan is unable to get his car back, he fears he may lose his job, which brings up many worries about being homeless again, this time without a car. Support to quickly pay back the fees due will allow him to secure his car and seamlessly continue getting to work.
