Maya is currently participating in a program to improve her mental health. She and her brother came into care due to significant concerns about their home conditions and their parents' failure to address the children's mental health needs. Maya is now residing in a placement where she can focus on her mental well-being. While in care, she is allowed only a limited number of items, including safe clothing that cannot be used to harm herself as she works on her recovery. Maya enjoys perfume, drawing, and staying active.

Maya currently resides in a residential treatment facility with limited days available for laundry. She is requesting new underwear to make sure she doesn’t run low before her next laundry day. This will help her stay comfortable and meet her needs in the meantime.
