Jayanna has been in foster care since she was 5 years old. Her journey has involved taking care of herself and her brother while moving between several foster homes and foster groups and staying with various family members and friends. Although she and her brother are no longer living together, Jayanna remains optimistic about being reunited with him. She is attending cosmetology and is looking for employment. She is known for being sweet, lovable, respectful, and happy, always ready to help others. Jayanna has a big heart and is very forgiving. She enjoys dancing, making TikToks, cooking, and watching the show Hell's Kitchen. Jayanna is working hard to achieve independence as she navigates independent living. Her dream is to become a traveling hair stylist and work with celebrities such as basketball player Angel Reese, and rappers Cardi B and Latto.

Jayanna, a first-year cosmetology student, needs to carry a significant number of tools and supplies to and from school every day. An iPad would be a valuable addition to her toolkit as it wouldn't add extra weight and could be used for taking notes, recording demonstrations during lectures for future reference, and studying for exams. Having an iPad would greatly benefit Jayanna by helping her stay organized with her notes and assignments.
