The children lived in several foster homes until their father regained custody and left them with their elderly grandmother. She provided for their basic needs. Daniel struggled in school and eventually dropped out. He was living with his grandmother until she recently passed away, leaving him without a place to live, forcing him to stay in his car.

Daniel's apartment has a beautiful front room, but unfortunately, it lacks proper lighting. During the day, he relies on natural light from the windows, but at night, he must resort to using light from the kitchen. It would greatly improve his living space if he could have a lamp to brighten up his front room.
