Jasmine has been invited to the high school Homecoming dance and is hoping to find a dress so she can attend. Her mother, a single parent, is currently dealing with depression and has had to temporarily stop working to focus on her mental health. Jasmine is a teen parent herself and really wants to attend this Homecoming, especially since it will be her first high school event as she is homeschooled.
