Jayanna has been in foster care since she was 5 years old. Her journey has involved taking care of herself and her brother while moving between several foster homes and foster groups and staying with various family members and friends. Although she and her brother are no longer living together, Jayanna remains optimistic about being reunited with him. She graduated from high school two months early, is currently attending cosmetology school, and has already passed two courses. Jayanna is also looking for employment. She is known for being sweet, lovable, respectful, and happy, always ready to help others. Jayanna has a big heart and is very forgiving. She enjoys dancing, making TikToks, cooking, and watching "Hell's Kitchen." Jayanna is working hard to achieve independence as she navigates independent living. Her dream is to become a traveling hair stylist and work with celebrities such as basketball player Angel Reese, and rappers Cardi B and Latto.
