Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY)DJ is an exceptional student with experience in foster care. He earns good grades and is well-liked by his teacher for his helpful nature. He is working hard to improve his reading skills, although he has not yet caught up with his peers.
DJ has been using the Lexia program to enhance his reading and math skills, and he truly enjoys it. However, with only two laptops available for him and five other kids in his home, sharing has become quite challenging. It would be wonderful for him to have his own device, allowing him to practice without waiting for his turn. Since starting the Lexia program, his reading grades have significantly improved, and having his own Chromebook would surely boost his skills even further!
