Selene was born prematurely and faced extreme medical complications during her first six months in the hospital. When she finally came home with her foster parents, they dedicated themselves to learning the essential medical care she required. After nearly two years of nurturing and support, they were able to adopt her. Selene is now thriving despite a range of ongoing medical needs, including a feeding tube, a colostomy bag, and a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. Her journey has been challenging, but her loving family continues to provide her with the care and support she deserves.

Selene has developed a real enthusiasm for ball pits! She thoroughly enjoys playing in the colorful ball pit at her gymnastics class, where she has shown remarkable progress in her physical skills. Bringing a ball pit home would not only allow her to enjoy the same delightful experience in her own space, but it would also provide her with an excellent opportunity to further enhance her fine and gross motor skills. As she jumps, rolls, and navigates through the sea of soft, vibrant balls, she'll be improving her balance and coordination in a fun, engaging way. This playful addition would be a fantastic complement to her sensory-friendly play area, creating a joyful environment where she can explore and thrive!
