Once his dad got out of jail, he was able to get Jamil back and help support his mom. In his free time, he likes to read, run, play sports, and travel. Jamil is very resilient, consistent, and determined to achieve what he sets his mind to.

Jamil’s determination and resilience have enabled him to overcome numerous obstacles throughout his life, from years spent in foster care to the challenges of supporting his family. His passion for running and staying active drives him to pursue his goals both on and off the track.
