Oscar entered care due to neglect and abuse at home. He had been on a safety plan with his father after his mother attempted to take her life in his presence. Despite this, he is the kindest and most cheerful child. He loves dinosaurs, hot wheels, inflatable houses, and football. He has challenges in school and regressed in many of his social skills. His foster parents welcomed him in, and they instantly clicked as a family. Oscar told them how excited he was to be with them.

Oscar had a few Hot Wheels cars in his journey bag when he first met his foster parents, and ever since then, he has wanted a nice track for them. He finds a lot of comfort in his belongings, but he is frequently anxious about accepting nice things. Christmas is a good opportunity to model accepting gifts in a positive way. Oscar is looking forward to this gift and showing it to his new friends.
