She hopes to have a phone, as staying connected will uplift her spirits and motivate her mom to succeed in treatment, ultimately leading to a better situation for both her and her children. Currently, Catherine faces challenges in communicating with her mom, especially while at school or when separated. She would also like to reach out to her CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) to share updates about her day, school test results, and upcoming outings.
