Paris is the youngest of five children and is being raised by a hardworking single mother who has dedicated herself to supporting and caring for her family. Paris travels back and forth between her mother’s and father’s homes and has learned to adapt through many transitions while continuing to stay focused on her goals and future. She is a playful, outgoing, and determined young lady who loves being involved in school activities. Paris has participated in ROTC, choir, cheerleading, and basketball, all while maintaining good grades and working hard academically. Her dedication and perseverance recently led to her being accepted into Ohio Wesleyan University, where she will attend in the fall after receiving a $5,000 scholarship. She plans to study Performing Arts and hopes to eventually join the military after completing school. Although Paris has faced emotional and mental challenges that many teenagers should never have to carry, she continues taking life one day at a time with strength and resilience. She is focused on creating a brighter future for herself while continuing to grow personally and academically. Paris is excited for this next chapter and all the opportunities that college will bring.

Paris has recently taken up a new hobby of making ribbon roses. She uses this time to decompress and cope with the everyday struggles that come with being a teenager. Having more ribbons would give Paris the ability to make a greater variety of roses. She likes to decorate her room with them and make them for her friends for their birthday.
