Carter is the oldest of three siblings. He is somewhat shy but can be engaging when familiar with the person. He resides at home with his mother and stepfather. His birth father is not involved in his life. He does not have a great relationship with his stepfather. He is held to a higher level of responsibility since his one sibling is autistic and his other sibling is a toddler. Carter can be independent but also feels left out in the home.
