While she is generally mild-mannered, she does experience negative emotions that can occasionally bubble to the surface. This is not uncommon for children who have experienced trauma, and her caregivers are working with her to manage those emotions properly. Mya has taken on the responsibility of caring for the family pets, which gives her a sense of purpose and makes her feel like an important part of the family. She does an amazing job, showering the pets with affection. Mya loves animals and bonds well with them.

Mya enjoys playing VR games because she loves the feeling of complete immersion in gameplay. It allows her to escape into her own little world for a while.
