Billy is truly enjoying life. He has been working hard and has made the basketball team! He loves to crack jokes and make everyone in the room smile. Billy's laughter is contagious, and he enjoys hanging out with his teammates. Most of all, he looks forward to spending time with his soon-to-be forever family. He is eagerly anticipating the finalization of his adoption after many long years navigating the foster care system.

Billy's transition to middle school has been a remarkable journey of growth and self-discovery. He's not only excelled academically, earning a place on the honor roll for the first time this past marking period – a testament to his dedication and hard work – but he's also navigating the social landscape with increasing confidence. He's begun to express himself more through his clothing choices, reflecting a natural desire to belong and connect with his peers. Many of the boys are wearing Nike hoodies, and Billy has expressed a strong interest in having one as well, specifically a navy blue one, to feel more comfortable and accepted within his social group. This desire speaks to his developing sense of identity and his efforts to find his place amongst his friends. It's a meaningful request that highlights his positive progress and social awareness.
