Shamya has been independent for a long time, facing challenges bonding with her mother and experiencing time in foster care. Despite these difficulties, she remains focused on her goals, graduating high school, maintaining steady employment, and recently getting a promotion. She’s saving to move into her first home after completing a transitional living program. While she doesn’t ask for much, there are a few key items she needs for her new place. Shamya enjoys music and self-care, including getting her hair, eyelashes, and nails done, and fulfilling some of her wishes would be a blessing. Her favorite colors are pink, purple, white and black.

Shamya is a dedicated individual who puts in long hours, working 12-hour shifts six days a week. Her focus and motivation towards achieving her goals have never been stronger. When she's not at work, she loves to unwind by curling up with a good book. On those grey, rainy days, she finds comfort by snuggling in bed, allowing herself to become completely immersed in captivating stories.
