Kahlani is a sweet and curious girl who is growing and learning more every day. She enjoys exploring the world around her, playing with toys, listening to music, and spending time with the family members who care for her. Her mother is a young teen who is still navigating many challenges while working hard to ensure her daughter is surrounded by love and support. Because of this, extended family members have stepped in to help provide stability and care while her mother continues working toward a brighter future for both of them. Despite the challenges her family has faced, she continues to thrive as a happy and playful child. She brings joy to those around her and is learning new things every day as she grows.

Kahlani is starting to babble some words, and her mother wishes to introduce her to vocabulary that will support her development. She hopes to do this by reading a set of Dr. Seuss books to Kahlani each night. Granting this wish will not only expose Kahlani to a richer vocabulary but also provide precious bonding time between mother and daughter.
