NJ DCFS - Ocean CountyDakota has been in foster care for the majority of her life. She is a personable, compassionate, intelligent young woman with a bright future. Dakota is extremely resilient and has overcome a great deal of adversity in her life. She has established many concrete supports in her life and is strongly bonded with her brother and sister, who are of a similar age. Dakota is optimistic about her future and is confident in her ability to succeed and overcome any unforeseen hardships she may encounter.
Dakota graduated from high school and successfully completed one year of college. She took a semester off to work full-time and save money and plans to return to college for the Spring 2025 semester. When not working or studying, Dakota enjoys watching movies and building LEGOs. One of her favorite movies is the Disney Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus. Dakota would love the Hocus Pocus LEGO set inspired by one of her favorite movies.
