An Xbox for Jose who had to change foster homes unexpectedly right before Christmas

Joey is a motivated and optimistic young man who has been through many hardships in his life. Joey has made great progress in every area of his life and is now on a path to success. Joey enjoys school and does very well. He enjoys getting to spend time outside and loves to play all different kinds of sports. Joey has spent much of his life in foster care and has spent most of those years separated from either all or most of his siblings. Joey loves that he is able to connect with his siblings through video games and his cell phone because he cares very much about their well-being, because he is the oldest of all of them and is a very responsible older brother.

Jose loves playing video games, especially Fortnite, as a way to connect with his siblings who are placed in separate foster homes. Unfortunately, he just unexpectedly left his last foster home, a week before Christmas, leaving behind the Xbox that belonged there. This sudden change has left him devastated, and without the game, he struggles to cope. He deeply misses his siblings and feels the distance without the ability to play together. Jose has never had a gaming system of his own, which adds to his feelings of uncertainty. While material things can’t truly fix what he’s going through, surprising him with something special on Christmas morning could bring a little hope and joy back into his life during this difficult season.

"Thank you, from the very bottom of my heart, for making this happen for Jose this Christmas. This has been the most positive thing that has happened this week for Jose and for all of us who are involved with him. This is truly going to help make his Christmas at least a little brighter, because he'll be able to play all of his favorite games, use all of his new Xbox accessories that he's getting for Christmas, and most importantly, connect with his siblings that he is separated from right now. It will also bring him comfort to know that no matter what happens next, no matter where he goes, he will always have an Xbox that is his own. "
