He lived with her for almost a year before being removed when she tested positive for illegal substances. Now living with his older sibling, Kamari remains hopeful for a reunion with his mother. A good student who aspires to play football, he is currently with his maternal aunt, who provides a supportive home. Kamari is pending legal guardianship, offering him the chance for a stable life.

Kamari is super active He loves playing sports like basketball, soccer, and football, whether he's at school or out in the park with his friends. Because he’s always on the go, his shoes tend to wear out pretty quickly. Being in the foster care system means he doesn’t always get the shoes he wishes for. Recently, Kamari shared that he really wants a pair of Adidas Samba shoes. It would mean a lot to him to start the school year with a pair he truly loves.
