Katie is a loving and caring young lady who recently aged out of foster care and just got her first apartment. The hardest part about having been in foster care was being away from her brother, which continues to be a challenge, but she hopes to have a consistent relationship with them one day. Katie is a cosmetology student and will be graduating with her esthetician license in February 2025. During that time, she will also have her first baby. She has been working at Five Below since the summer of 2023 but is currently on leave due to her pregnancy.

Katie is expecting a baby girl in February 2025 and is thrilled about becoming a mom. She would like to have a few essential baby items, but due to her limited social network and current inability to work, she cannot purchase everything she wants on her own. One item she really hopes to have is a 4-in-1 baby bouncer, which would allow her to keep her baby close and comfortable during different stages of her daughter's life when she cannot hold her.
